Free Flappy bird-like game

Flappy Mac is a fast-action arcade game created for vintage 68K Macintosh computers. This free-to-play game will remind players of the viral mobile game Flappy Bird. However, instead of a bird, you will control a variety of characters as they try to go through obstacles.

Like Flappy Bird, you only have to click your mouse to make your hero float. The goal in Flappy Mac is to score 100 points. Additionally, each character you unlock comes with a different background and sound effects. Users must note that the sound is not compatible with some CPU upgrade cards.

What is Flappy Mac?

Flappy Mac is an indie game that brings the popular Flappy Bird game to Macintosh computers. As mentioned, it uses the same gameplay as the mobile game. The goal is to keep the character floating as it goes through obstacles. The longer you keep your hero alive, the higher the score you will have. However, instead of recording a high score, here, you will aim to get 100 points.

The controls are simple. You only have to click your mouse to keep the hero floating. Additionally, the game has ten unlockable characters. Each hero will also have its own background scene and sound effects. You will begin with an old-school Mac computer. But as you gain points, you can start unlocking characters. Some heroes will have a fully colored map, while some come with a black and white scenario.

Flappy Mac is written in C and is designed for a vintage 68K Macintosh machine. It also supports both 1-bit and 8-bit graphics. Ideally, it requires a Mac SE/30 or Qudra, but it also works with LC or Mac 11 line devices. However, the sound does not work correctly in System 4. The sound is also not compatible with some CPU upgrade cards.

Flop down memory lane

Overall, Flappy Mac is a fun game, especially if you are a fan of the classic Flappy Bird. It comes with similar gameplay but with the addition of new characters and background design. It is also playable on vintage Macintosh computers. However, as with the original game, there is not much going on in this title. There is no variety in gameplay, making it boring over time.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?
